The strands are each 15 1/2" long. The rice shaped beads are 10mm x 5mm. These beads are heavily included with Pyrite.(fool's gold). The most sought after lapis has Pyrite. The color is a midnight blue. Ground lapis was used for eye makeup in ancient Egypt.
