24k gold plated salt and pepper shakers

One had it's handle come off and I gorilla glued it together - been fine since then, no breaking. just don't have a place for a ton of knick knacks. Bottom has "24k gold plate" label, pictured. I never used them for salt and pepper, although I think that's what they are for? or decor? cute little trinkets.
