Logically , for example, if you wear a size 6-12..from looking at the size chart measurements for a dress or top. Theres no way your rib cage measures 42", yet many of you are wearing like a 42D. This means you dont know your bust and band measurement. Check the charts here. Chart gives the smallest letter you MIGHT fit. Your volume may mean youd need to go up letters. Try some on in your correct band number ...( see chart)

I just found a problem on the Lane Bryant row. I the majority of UK brands, GG is a USA J. In many brands, problems start after D. Some brands call DD an E. Others , most, call DDD an E. One can't just order online not knowing what each brands call the size one fits into in a USA brand first. Then , look at the UK brand you're considering it's size chart . Find your measurement at top above and fill in for that brand .

FF in most UK brands is an H. I found this out the hard way . Returned lots of bras. In most UK brands GG is a USA J.
And since usually, GG is J......a G is usually a size I. I'd found the chart online , and hadn't looked it over closely. It was the only one I'd found at the time.

Look very closely at the brands charts above, at the columns showing the letters for each number difference between widest part of bust measurement and band measurement. Many of the letters under a number are different in lots of the brands. Very important to know this. If possible , find a store that carries many letters and numbers after you've measured yourself.
