These icicles don't cling to your clothing, they don't damage the environment when it is time to discard them. This real aluminum tinsel can be recycled year after year for several seasons. To save the tinsel you take a piece of recycled Christmas gift wrap paper and place it face down on a table. Remove the tinsel strands and lay them on the paper. When tree is empty of tinsel you roll up the gift wrap around the icicles and place the pack with the ornaments waiting for the next Christmas season. When the tinsel eventually wears out you put the remains in the metal recycling bin and they will be melted down and made into a new object. Good for the environment! Sustainable! The fragile old wrapping material may be damaged through age. The packaging may be slits, breaks or bits of wrapping might be missing due to being stored for more than 50 years.
