The manger is a painted wooden box with molded thatched roof, sand and palm trees. The box has a magnetic clousure and all the figures fit inside for storage. The figures are all very detailed. The manger is approximately 8" wide and 10" tall with star when closed and 15" wide when opened. Pre-owned so there is a little wear. Some of the gold paint on the star and blue paint on one of the hinges has rubbed off. Three of the sticks on the roof have broken off. Otherwise in very good condition.
