2011 vguc Gap toddler boy 6-12 months elephant romper

This listing is for a 2011 Gap baby boy black elephant romper in a size 6-12 months. This was worn 2-3x by my middle son 10+ years ago. I have much to say about this one-piece so I'll do my best to articulate my many thoughts on this one. I'm sure this is one of the only true black pieces of baby clothing I owned. It is a unique color choice considering this deep black is a dark somewhat forboding color. That seems odd to put on a baby but it actually works. The elephant looks like it was ripped out of a charcoal sketch book. I would probably hang this on the wall as it looks like it should be encased in glass at the Met. I took photos at that angle to try and show the unique, soft felt texture of the elephant's shadow. Elephants are amazingly intelligent, empathetic magnificent creatures. Female calves stay with mom their entire life. Now, I'm actually referring to African elephants bc of the head & shape on this image. Asian elephants have smaller ears & the top of their head looks like the top of a heart. Anyhow, the bulls or males like pictured here I thought were solitary. So one associates solitude with lonliness / seriousness but this one is wearing a striped blue tie. That is a striking juxtaposition between the silliness of a striped blue tie & the what seems like the abyss of black. It is absolutely beautiful though. It becomes a fun mix; an intertwining of two seemingly opposing forces which works really well. I'm out of characters.I hate being limited.lol
