A beautiful, rare set of 2 moss agate wine glasses made in Poland exclusively for Neiman Marcus. Moss Agate glass is a rare type of art glass first developed in 1888. It's a sophisticated type of a variety of glass referred to as "stone glass." The concept of the "Moss Agate" glass was to closely approximate the look and weight of the mineral it was meant to imitate. Each piece is unique, one-of-a-kind, piece of art. Each glass stands 7 inches tall with a 3 1/2 inch rim diameter. Each glass holds five to six ounces comfortably with eight ounces if filled to the rim. Both are in excellent condition. Developed in 1888 by glasshouse Stevens & Williams. It's a sophisticated type of a variety of glass referred to as "stone glass."
