michposh_ @random_sequence How do you keep the buyer from purchasing the items/bundle instead of making an offer or me making the offer before they purchase thinking the discount/sale is automatic... I’ve had that happen & messes it up

random_sequence @michposh_ It rarely happened to me, because I provide very detailed description of how the sale works. Ultimately, it is up to the buyer though to take advantage of the sale or not, same as with using coupons at the store. If they did, however, purchased at full price, I would have let them know. There is an option to cancel the sale within 3 hours.

penacrew1958 I have made postings like you and shared them but they never seem to appear in the fee and the system automatically marks them not for sale. I don’t know if they even get shared because I have never made a sale out of it. What do you think I am doing wrong? Thanks

They act more like Signs or Advertisements, so when potential customers come to your Closet page, they see what kind of deals you offer and, hopefully, will browse more and find something they like. random_sequence @penacrew1958 Mine is listed as For Sale. Maybe that’s why it showed in the feed. I don’t really track what shows in the feed and what not. I never had Poshmark automatically change any of my listings as Not for Sale.

penacrew1958 @random_sequence well I won’t worry about then. Did you notice any difference in sales this weekend? The CEO made that announcement during the Poshmark fest that they were reverting back to the old algorithm starting this weekend and we were supposed to see an uptake in sales…did you because I surely didn’t and I list every day. 😩

random_sequence @penacrew1958 I was doing really well all year up to June. Then I closed for 3 months and now having a hard time getting back up. I don’t know if it’s the algorithm or a slow time or what the reason maybe, but I only had one sale today. And 2 over the weekend. It is very upsetting.

penacrew1958 @random_sequence same here. Well now that they sold to Naver who is the largest internet search engine in So. Korea things might change for the best because they seem to want to take things global so that’s more sets of eyes on our listings. They’ve gone private so let’s keep our fingers crossed.
