Part two to the classic film.The classic continues as Billy Coleman returns from WWll to his grandfather's home in Louisiana and tries to readjust to civilian life after the traumas of war. Grandpa anticipated Billy's state of mind and has a therapeutic gift waiting-a pair of Red bone hound puppies-just like the one he had as a boy. Soon after his return he befriends a neighborhood boy named Wilson. The hounds and Wilson becomes his closet friends and together they help Billy rediscover the gift of giving and caring!
