carrolhawkins These dishes are pressed glass. Cut glass has a pattern etched into the glass. Cutting glass is a dying art. Here in Warsaw, IN, we have a cut glass factory. The glassware is quite expensive. The glass cutter has been looking for an apprentice for a number of years. Cutting glass is an exacting and intricate art. Very few have the patience to learn to cut glass. The pressed glass that you have is made by machine. The best pressed glass has sharp edges on the pattern.
