This is a pair of framed needlepoints that feature "pinkie" and "blue Boy". Pinkie was originally featured in a 1794 painting by Thomas Lawrence and Blue Boy is the famous subject of the 1770 painting by Thomas Gainsborough. Although they were not painted by the same artist, they became synonymous when hung together at the Huntington Library in California. They have been popularized in needlework and have a kitschy, endearing charm.
They are framed in wood frames and are framed under glass, and each has wire on the back for hanging.
Measurements: Framed size is 13.5" tall x 9.25" wide.
