2 Vintage Raymond Carver Paperback Books Will You Please, Be Quiet 1992 First Edition 2nd Printing A small tear on one page but otherwise great condition. This was his first major-press short-story collection. Described by contemporary critics as a foundational text of minimalist fiction, its stories offered an incisive and influential telling of disenchantment in the mid-century American working class.  The books are also listed separately in my closet. A New Path to the Waterfall 1989 Book of Poems Crease on back cover and a bit of shelf wear, but pages are in great condition.
