@dearlyemilu I know how you feel. My youngest son lives in the same town, so I’ll get to see that baby. My oldest is in New Mexico. We will be doing a lot of Facebook or Skyping. I prefer FaceTime but they do t have apple lol. I pray your mom gets to be there for you. We always need our moms in times like these. Have a blessed delivery. I wish you the best

@knitnat Lydia was due Nov 1. I got to New Mexico Oct 27 at 6pm. My daughter in law was in the hospital by 3 pm the 28th. So She waited until grandma arrive to make an entrance. I was so happy to be there.

@knitnat yeah. They live in the same town. I’m not allowed to see her because her mom is controlling. She put stipulations on having a relationship with the baby. It’s really had because I’ve lost my son in the process. They both blocked me because I wasn’t posting enough photos of her on Facebook. I haven’t seen her since Christmas Day.

@haniyo you can’t afford her 😂 she’s extremely expensive, like life sentences expensive 😬😬. You have to go through her parents, 3 grandmas 2 grandpas and her aunt. It took 2 years for her momma to get pregnant. Lots and lots of prayer. She’s a blessed baby that’s for sure.

@jeanmcg4 hi Jean as of right now we are ok. There aren’t any evacuation plans at this time. They are waiting until tomorrow to make that decision. We will also wait until tomorrow. All prayer are definitely welcome. We need them and God hears our cries for mercy. My small family my husband and 2 dogs (my children) my birthed children are grown. I do have a son, daughter in law and granddaughter that are here too. We are praying they listen also long story. I will keep you updated.

@meinliebe2 Hi I had a dog and cat when we evacuated, traveling North and making it a road trip for two weeks. (I had two beagles but rescued the cat who was starving). We stayed at LaQuinta's they were great and always allow pets. I wish we made reservations in advance (check - you can cancel) but maybe you have friends to stay with. Hope this is useful. @jeanmcg4 we just bought a travel trailer 2 weeks ago. This was supposed to be our 1st weekend get away in a really long time. Yesterday was my husbands 52nd birthday and Wednesday is our 16th Wedding anniversary. So we’d been ready for a trip. Thank you. I will definitely have to video the house. I hurt my back yesterday loading the generator 🙄 I’m in terrible pain today.

@eriley755 she does look just like her daddy. She’s such an awesome baby and I’m so blessed to have her in my life. Yes both mom and dad serve. I’ve very proud of them both. It’s hard with a baby and family far away but they make it work. My DIL is amazing, I couldn’t have picked a better wife for my son or mother for my granddaughter. Thank you so much.

I just scrolled thru some comments. I knew several AF people in Honolulu also some Navy people. I used to go shopping for groceries at Pearl Harbor, lol.
My oldest brother was fluent in German and recognized “My children” in your posh name. I’m a grandmother too and enjoy the kids.

Our 5 Grandchildren are 12 to 23 and we are so blessed to have the thrills of seeing them from infants so precious to the wonderful treasures they are now! You will love the journey, it’s what we live for as much as our parents doted on our children! May God watch over all our loved ones
