Excellent pre-owned condition History of shoes collection is a three-dimensional, finely sculptured miniature with fine crystal entirely manufactured in a Los Angeles studio. Cast in jewelry metal and ornamented in enamels and fine crystal, they are vehicles of imagination and escape like the shoes in fairy tales. A captivating article to admire and enjoy, this little dancing shoe transmits the era of the flapper. This style danced the Charleston at Gatsby's and was noticed during cocktails at Downton Abbey. It would have been constructed of carmine red and jet black with a cut steel ornament on the toe and strap and had an angular Spanish heel. Note that the photo with the coin is to show the size.
