19th Century Japanese Edo Era Traveling Rain Samurai Kappa Cape

The cape is in great condition for its age. It has some loose treads at the tie details and trim. There are def a few holes, only one I found goes trhough the cape, the others only go through on layer. Indigo and beige color. There are 2 string that tie around the wasit and some metal attached to sting at top, that I cannot figure out how it attaches to close. Slight collar in back. Measures 85 cm long and 95 cm in back.
