1982 US Army Camo Jacket

Vintage 1982 distressed camo jacket, Army issue. You can date an Army jacket by the number on the tag “DLA100-82” should mean 1982. Camouflage Woodland pattern coat for combat. 50% cotton, 50% nylon. Tagged Men’s size L Long, but could fit a range of sizes based on desired fit. Unisex. Tons of pockets, buttons up front, unlined. In fair used condition w/no noticeable flaws besides a lot of dark (ink?) stains I couldn’t get out (on front and back) and a light musty smell. Also missing 1 bottom button in front. I bought this from an estate sale of a Veteran who had tons of clothing items. I talked to his niece & found out he was in the Vietnam war, but stationed in Korea (I think?). It should be okay to wear a military clothing item casually as long as you remove the original patches (probably so you’re not impersonating an officer and out of respect for the Veteran). *would be great to upcycle! You could cover the ink stains with patches or embroidery. Punk it up with safety pins.
