Gorgeous 1980s formal gown made of a sharkskin taffeta that changes color in different light. It can go from a dark blue to a bright teal. It has big puffed sleeves with elastic at the shoulders so you can wear it as an off-shoulder style or not. The sleeves are lined. The bodice has a sweetheart neckline and princess seams for a flattering fit to the drop waist. A full gathered skirt adds drama and swish! There is a nylon zipper up the back. The bodice and skirt are unlined. No maker's label present. Very good condition. The fabric has the feel of silk taffeta but tested as synthetic.
