1980s Where the Wild Things Are Plush Stuffed Monster 25th Book FAO Ltd Ed VBC

This rare bundle includes a limited edition "Where the Wild Things Are" plush character and a 25th Anniversary hardcover edition of the beloved book by MAURICE SENDAK. The plush figure was made exclusively for FAO Schwarz and is tagged as a limited edition from 1988. It features faux fur, felt claws, and iconic illustrated detailing true to the original artwork. Measures approximately 14" tall. The 25th Anniversary Edition hardcover book features the Caldecott Medal on the cover. It's filled with Sendak's classic illustrations and updated engravings from the original 1963 art. The book shows gentle wear along the edges and a soft bend on the cover (see photos). However, it is still beautifully bound and displayable. The plush shows some wear at one toe (photo provided) and on his claws, but is in great vintage condition.
