1980's Oleg Cassini Vintage Decorative Vase Sculpture

Modern design sculptural silver-leaf lacquer vase designed by Oleg Cassini (1913 - 2006). Late 20th century. Fabricated wood, formed into an abstracted monolithic shape. Decorated with squares of silver-leaf under clear lacquer, in the Asian style. Signed with raised letters “OLEG CASSINI” on a gilded brass plaque set into the bottom. A stunning example of Cassini’s design in the decorative arts. Examples of this vase are scarce. Modern Hollywood Regency. Circa 1980’s ~ Oleg Cassini Studios.
