1979 Vintage Elgin Bar Clock. Stained glass with wood box frame. This clock runs on a C battery and is missing the second hand. (This item is in my local flea market booth) first come first choice. Clock works are cheap easily replaced from back.

@bigswing I' haven't put a battery in to test. I was going to, but had the wrong size battery with me at the time. I just never got back to it. It's in my flea market booth. I'll try to stop in tomorrow and test it out. If I can't get there tmrw I will on Tues.

I have one just like this and you cannot "easily" replace the clockworks. You have to remove the entire board the clock is mounted on.

@usualunusually Agreed. I have the identical clock (It’s beautiful, just as this one is…) and tried to replace the clockwork. Forget it. I’ve had trouble figuring out how to get it working again. Every piece must be removed from the board. Not an easy process, and not simply a matter of quickly swapping one clock out for another. I might take it to a repair shop. Anyway, this seems like a good price for a lovely clock. Good luck! ☮️
