Vintage Sears, Roebuck & Co. "Country Coordinates Trivet," a large, ceramic tile trivet set in a cast-iron frame shaped like a tea kettle. It was made in Japan in 1978. The trivet is adorable and features a pioneer / old-fashioned woman in a yellow dress baking in the kitchen with a sweet little kitty pulling at her apron. Use this heavy-duty trivet for serving or as decor. There's a hole at the top for hanging.
The main colors on the white trivet are brown and yellow. The tile is about 6" square, and the black cast-iron frame is about 11 1/4" long by 8" wide at its widest point.
This is in great vintage condition. Upon close examination, there's very minor fading on some of the crevices of the cast-iron, and there's a brown mark on the top edge of the trivet in one little spot (it might be glue residue; it was likely manufactured that way). Please see last photo. I don't think you'll notice it in person.
This will be packed with care and shipped promptly.
