1970s-80s Vintage Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Black Wool Midi Skirt, Closure Moved

Late 70s or early 80s Saint Laurent Rive Gauche black wool jersey skirt. Isn't a full wrap style, but the right side crosses over the left to button. Most of the skirt - the back and the left side panel - are lined in black 55% acetate/45% Cupro. The right panel remains unlined, and is angled up at the hem, which affords it a nice drape. Little gathers at the waist. Now...the closure at the waist has been moved to make it bigger. Originally it had two buttons and two buttonholes, and now it has one button and some hooks inside. It's a vintage size 36, and the original waist size was 24". As it fastens now it's a 27" waist; you could always move the button to somewhere between 24" and 27" inches, too! But it's cut for XXS-XS, at any rate. Flat hip measurement taken across the back is about 18.5"; length is just shy of 28". See the last photo for how it falls when the waist is aligned the original way - beautiful. Apart from this (reversible) alteration, it's in excellent condition.
