1970s vintage wedding gown long sleeve lace XS white cream ivory silk. William Cahill California dress. Lace trim detail. Color is white/cream/ivory. Sheer decolletage. High neck. Has been preserved in original box. Dress only taken out for the photos. Will be packaged and shipped in the original preservation box. Size approx XS/S/2. Silk. See measurements for a better idea of fit. Worn once. (was my mom's - she is 5'4") Zipper back and on sleeves. Excellent vintage condition. A few dark marks on the bottom hem, see close up image and very very faint mark on left side front. Otherwise very clean. Might come out with dry cleaning but if not, they are not very noticeable. Small train that can bustle up. Waist all around is 26 in. Sleeve length is 25 in. Length in back with train is 73 in. Length in front from top of neck to bottom hem 54.5 in. Shoulder to shoulder 14.5 in. Pit to pit is 15 in. From 1977.

This pretty what is s underbust and front ribcage measurement, do you know if the tulle / illusion net is silk? And is the fabric content intact? Is it capable of being worn with a brassiere and are bra holder straps intact, and what is lining material? Do you know the lace material? Cotton, poly or silk? Thank you. Was this meant to be a summer or winter wedding and do you know venue type worn at? Thank you is it styled like a sweep train? Or longer. How tall was original bride?

@tuneybelle hi there! some of your ?s are already in the description but will answer here. Dress was my mom’s she’s 5”4” petite. Wore it once for her fall wedding in 1977 @ a church. Underbust is 13 in flat. I would say this as a sweep train - it's short. unfortunately material tag is not there-outer layer feels like silk, inside liner is thicker with some shape to it. Polyester maybe. A strapless bra can be worn with this dress. the entire decollectage is sheer. Let me know if u need more info
