1970s Vintage Horn and Brass Bangle Bracelet

This brass and natural carved horn bangle was one of a few that were selected from an upstairs antique bazaar when I first moved to Honolulu in the early 80s. The bazaar was wild, it was hot. It was crowded with lots of vendors and tons of tourists. And for a girl from Iowa, it was exotic and exciting and intoxicating! This bangle features beautifully patinaed brass base with squares of cut horn set around it. The vendor said this was made in India. Measurements: 8" around inside of bangle, 9.25" around outside of bangle. 7/8" wide This has been worn...a lot. I love it because it looks great dressed up and worn with all black, or, it was also worn to the beach quite a few times, too. We have some fragrant sandalwood oil that we got when we were in Indonesia; we use a little bit of it to polish our natural horn and wood treasures.
