This is a Beaver Brand hat from no earlier than the late 1970s and more likely the 1980s. It is 100% fur felt and that fur is rabbit not beaver. All of the beaver fur felt hats from this company have the leather sweatband embossed with “100% Pure Beaver Fur Felt.” This brand came out of the old Langenberg Hat Co., but they did not make hats under the Beaver Brand name until approximately 45 years ago. @deadlyhandsome did you notice the 3 different people offering to buy the hat all giving their number out to call them. It was obviously scammers pulling the same act. They were very desperate for hat one asking to buy for 600$. Interesting how far they were going to get to sell and jump through these crazy hoops knowing that I am a new member to posh. I again appreciate you giving me more information on the fedora, I could not find that brand anywhere and was told it was a lot older.
