1970's Couture Dress Judy Hornby Sz 10 Cocktail Dress

Judy Hornby was a London designer that moved to New York in the 1970s and one of her pieces was even bestowed "dress of the year" in 1971, by the Fashion Museum in Bath. This particular design of hers appears to be 1970's inspired and is a breathtaking and flattering fit. It has a slightly quilted bodice & the sleeves and skirt are sheer. The skirt is lined so it’s not see-through, but the sleeves are. The detailed floral pattern is present on the sleeves and the skirt. There is a side hidden zipper with clasp where bodice and skirt meet to keep it together and hidden. The dress is over 40 years old but is in amazing condition! It is labeled a size 10 but it is definitely more the fit of a modern size 6/8. Approximate measurements: Bust 18.5” Waist: 14” Length: 44”
