Final Markdown!
1969 WOODSTOCK Similar posters "SOLD" for $700 and more, like the one shown on last photo. Yes, better condition plus tickets. This is just as a reference.
By Arnold Skolnick. For the historic music festival held in 1969 on a dairy farm located in White Lake, Town of Bethel, Sullivan County, N.Y. From the list of participants: Joan Baez, Arlo Guthrie, Tim Hardin, Richie Havens, Incredible String Band, Ravi Shankar, Sly and The Family Stone, Bert Sommer, Sweetwater among many other famous musicians.
Dimensions: W 21.75" X H 29.75" with frame, poster W 18" X H 24.75" "Original size given out at the concert. Pre concert posters for publicity were larger".
Photo number one is with the red/orange metal frame and glass, no mat. It was kept this way with no mat for many years to match the color of the wall where it was hang (good idea for the future owner). The rest of the photos were taken with no frame or glass. The poster shows some discoloration on the right hand side, small tiny pinholes on corners, little tiny loss on right bottom side, old tape repairs, some old creases and folds. Overall the poster is in good vintage pre-owned condition. The poster comes from a private collector.
