What's so special about this 1965 Quarter? Isn't every circulated 1965 quarter minted with no mint mark with a face value of just .25?

The value is in the collector scene, where people know what to look for for errors or mistakes in strikes, take for example The “I” in In God We Trust, it is nearly blended with the N, The first “T” in Trust is not straight. I usually leave these up to the buyer to determine for themselves. I don’t list just any run of the mill coin, and you can price compare to see the value. Thank you for your curiosity.

Is the fact the first T in trust not straight what can potentially increase the coin’s value? I am super interested in any specific traits to look for as I have a 1967 unminted quarter. Thank you so much for any free advice or knowledge 😇💖🙏

@muddypuddles honestly it’s my kids who had me list for them, they are the ones interested right now, I’ve learned that there are so many different errors to look for, doubling, wrong mintage, wrong metal content, therefore wrong weight, misplacements, and it’s not limited to older coins. Some older coins are made with actual silver making them worth more. I would look each coin up. If you do find a diamond in the rough, I suggest getting them certified through pcgs. Happy hunting! 😊
