This belt buckle is a work of art! It depicts a glorious mesoamerican man wearing a feather headdress. It's made of cast metal (looks like bronze or brass) with detailed ornamental features welded on after the initial cast. It's been purposely tarnished, however there are products that remove chemical tarnish if you prefer a gleaming surface. It's from the 1960's, when folk cultures were being explored by young people. This buckle originates from Colorado. It's absolutely beautiful. It could be worn as a belt buckle, a hat ornament, or a scarf tie.
