Vintage Pintado a Mano Ceramics Decorative Plate. Made by Artecer. Artecer is the most prestigious manufacturer of the Seville ceramics. They use enamel and 24 karat gold. The artwork is known as the work of "dry rope" which was brought by the Arabs in the 8th century to Andalusia. Since then the craft has been carried out in Spain. This plate features heavy gold gilt along the rim and thick enamel painting. The image is a floral all over image. Handmade in Spain. Measures approx. 7.25" round. Excellent Vintage Condition. Wear is consistent with age. No chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. Signed on underside.
