Silver City Glass Reverse Painted dish Flanders Poppy Pattern Sterling Silver Overlay Vintage from the 1960s Materials: Glass Description This vintage dish has sterling silver overlay poppies made by Silver City Glass Company. The poppy pattern is called "Flanders," a pretty popular piece. It is an oval shape with scalloped sterling silver edging. The middle of the dish is a sterling silver overlay of a bouquet of Poppies. When you turn the bowl over the flowers are white. This is a wonderful piece of reverse painting. This piece would make a great gift. It’s perfect for relish, pickles, nuts or candy. The dish measures 11" long, 5 5/8" wide and 2" deep. Very nice condition - Silver overlay is fully intact - see photos for final condition.
