1960’s Suit in Mint Condition

Sea-foam shantung suit in pristine condition. This is such a rare find that I actually thought about not list it. But that would be an injustice to keep such a garment trapped in a closet! Firstly, the original store tags are still on the dress! (See photo) It’s Union Made (see label) and it’s never been worn! Classic 60’s box cut jacket with plastic and crystal buttons and white mink fur collar. Princess cut with 2 pockets in front. 3/4 length sleeve with vent and button detail. Jacket Measurements: Bust flat 19” Waist flat 17” Hip/hem flat 20” Sleeve length 19” Jacket length back 22.5” Dress is a simple sleeveless sheath dress cut in a princess pattern. Extremely flattering to many body types. The fabric is crisp and holds its shape while the satin lining feels soft and wonderful. Center back zip. Dress Measurements: Bust flat 19” Waist flat 16.5” Hips flat 19” Length back 36” Dry Clean Only. Remove fur collar before cleaning. I also recommend removing the buttons before cleaning The garment predates the federal requirement for fibre content labelling in the United States.
