1960s era tea caddy. It's lost it's top, but is still a charming little pot with a cityscape of London in gold around its middle--perfect for a floral centerpiece. I'm thinking hydrangeas, but choose your favorite. Made sometime before 1965 by the legendary English potters Shorter & Son, though with a sleek, midcentury look instead of their more typical folksy ceramics. It has a few scuffs from wear and dimples where the glaze didn't take, but no chips or cracks. I wonder how many PG Tips bags it has contained over the years!
