1960's Pinup Tabak of California Low Cut Crop Pink Floral Cardigan

Own a piece of Mid-Century fashion history with this darling cardigan by Tabak of California. Tabak was one of the great California sportswear companies of the mid 20th century. The label in this piece dates it to the mid 1960's when the head designer at Tabak was Irene Saltern. A cutting-edge designer, she is widely credited as a pioneer in the California sportswear/separates revolution in the 1950s. The cardigan is super super soft with a light to medium light weight feel. It has a very low cut front with three buttons at the hem, pink floral motifs on the bodice, and a cropped silhouette - perfect for layering! You can throw it on over a mid century pink dress for a tea party or pair it with jeans and t shirt for a casual weekend look. It has it's original "Tabak of California" label at the neckline however no sizing is marked. It fit our Medium model well. Condition: Excellent condition other than one small discoloration spot on the back elbow. It could be spot cleaned or dry cleaned to perfection.
