1960's Large Faux Amber Chunky Chain Necklace

Big chunky gold tone chain sports a faux Amber pendant, 1 3/4" wide × 5/8" thick × 2 1/2" length. This is a 1960's teardrop Lucite "Statement" necklace with a textured gold tone hollow alloy. It's much lighter than it looks. I've been told many times when I'm wearing it what a beautiful piece of amber this is. Traditionally amber is paired with silver not gold so that makes this necklace quite unique. When seeing this, it's hard to believe it's not real amber, just vintage lucite. Appraised.
