1960’s Era Vintage Peacock Compact

Shows signs of lots of use - see pics for condition. The peacock looks like painted foil on a black cushion background with a clear plastic cover over it. Note my finger pushing in on cushion. Also see closeup of a circular flaw which was there 30 years ago when I added it to my collection. Appears to have been used as an ashtray (or roach box).
