Vintage smooth woven black straw handbag, has black leather bar and gold tone clasp, and four metal button feet on bottom. Made by Mayer New York, c. 1960's. The straw is very tightly woven and in Excellent condition. The leather handle strap handle shows wear. Hinges and clasp work very well. Inside: Black smooth cloth with a slit pocket and zipper pocket. The inside very clean. 10-½" x 7" x 3" Handle: 5 inches from top Label "Mayer New York" = a collectible! HB-02
