1960/70 s Purple Dress

Clothing history repeats itself! Vintage 1960s polyester chiffon and velvet dress. Worn by my aunt to a formal dance in the Early 1970s. The high banded collar gives a Victorian nod to this style. The lilac bodice features sheer sleeves and is lined with taffeta through the torso. The full length skirt is a rich purple velvet. This dress is in excellent shape and is possibly handmade. No rips, stains tears, holes, piling, etc. Smoke free, pet friendly home. MEASUREMENTS LYING FLAT: Pit to Pit - 18" (36" bust circumference) Center back neck to hem - 56" Waist - 15" (30" waist circumference).
