1960 Framed Landscape Painting - Wilkinson - Mountains Forest Lake

Beautiful painting of a forested mountain and water landscape. Almost a brutalist texture due to the sharp shapes provided by the palette lnife application of the paint. Painting and frame have been washed, but there are areas on the frame that you may want to repaint if the patina isn't your style. It would also be easy to remove the painting to reframe as it's on a board. This is significantly torn but it doesn't detract from the painting or frame itself. The cord for hanging is still well intact.
