This 1956 hand painted Christmas figurine depicts a dainty young girl in a red coat over a green ruffled gown, wearing a white hat with green holly accent and red ribbon tie, holding wrapped holiday gifts. It's a charming mid 20th century statue which is also a planter. Imported by Napco from Japan. This vintage youngster is highly collectible and in excellent pre-loved condition except for some missing paint (see images) - no crazing, chips, cracks. Marked on base "© Napco 1956 " and "AX1690PB". Base also has an oval palette shaped silver paper label reading "National Potteries Co. Cleveland, O. Made In Japan". Label is scuffed/hard to read.
