1950s vintage dark brown leather jacket

Vintage dark brown leather motorcycle jacket from the 1950s. The leather and lining are in great vintage condition. Has a nice weathered look to it. Jacket used to have a badge above the chest pocket. You can see where the stitching used to be, which is a cool detail. This was my dad’s jacket in high school, and it has been in storage for 40 years. Usually jackets from this era are in way worse condition or simply nonexistent! Only notable defect is a hole in the right hand pocket, but this can be easily repaired. Tag reads “made of genuine top grain” and “steerhide.” There’s a brand called Aero Leather out of Scotland selling recreations of this jacket for $1k. This jacket is the real thing!
