1950s Vintage Gay Gibson floral dress, Women's size Small or Medium

Vintage 50 floral cotton dress by designer Gay Gipson. Green flowered pattern, kitten sleeves, bateau neckline. Piping on neckline and and sleeves in solid green color. Fitted bodice but gathered and flowing skirt. Side metal zipper. Significant extra fabric at hem line on inside of dress - 6" around hem. Condition is good for 70+ years old. There is some wear on the seams and small tears on backside at shoulder line & on the neckline. Reinforcement of some seams needed but overall in very good shape and could be worn as is. There is no belt, but one belt loop and there was a tied bodice in the back and the ribbon tie is not included. Really pretty and great shape for someone who respects quality of materials and vintage attire. Apx measurements: Waist flat = 14" Pit to Pit= = 18" Length (shoulder to hem)= 38.5"
