Priceless Vintage 1950's Texas AMC Cheerleader Sweater
Did you know that before Texas A&M was Texas A&M it was called Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas? This piece is a nod to the past representing classic Americana in the form of a 1950's cheerleading sweater. This vintage v-neck sweater says Texas Co above a pair of crossed rifles and below it says E and AMC. It also has all the original labels, including the WA Holt Athletic Outfitters label from Waco, Texas (home of Joanna Gaines + Magnolia) and they made all of the Texas Uniforms back in the day. It also has the SAND knit tag indicating the sweater portion was made in Chicago. It was customized for the cheerleader who wore it, DEDE POLLAN. Show your #TexasPride with this unique piece of Texas and American history.
