Fifi’s 1950’s vintage rotary telephone makeup compact, that a style was inspired by Salvador Dali. It has the powder puff and the powder sifter included. It is so freaking cute, you guys! I’m obsessed. It is black enamel with white gloss enamel circles/numbers. There are minor scratches and vintage wear and tear, but overall great condition! The clasp works perfectly. There is an inscription on the top: Marsha & then some numbers (maybe coordinates? I’m not sure) This is too precious to pass up.

@michellerstokes Hi! Super Cool!! A compact was a very popular gift for your special someone back in the day. Yours is personalized or engraved. The beloved former owner of your beautiful compact was “Marsha”, and show her phone number, referencing the telephone dial compact lid. Back in the day, we had Alpha, not numerical prefixes. Perfect example is “Butterfield 8”, Elizabeth Taylor’s telephone exchange in the movie of the same name. No area codes in existence yet.
