1950s Black Soutache Jacket / Knitted Ribbon with Black Mink Collar Eve Jacket - S/M Elegant 1950s Evening Jacket in Jet Black Ribbon Embroidery with Genuine Black Mink Fur Collar. Fully lined. No closures or pockets. Has shirt tail and sleeve cuff vents, center back scallop for fashion. Incredible artistry to the soutache ribbon rose floral configuration embroidery. Ribbon is stitched into ornate patterns by hand over the entire surface of the coat. Bracelet length sleeves. Mint condition, Looks like it was never worn, ribbon in perfect condition, mink collar shiny and sleek and very soft. Excellent condition all around! If you wear with a black skirt you will have a darling mid-century evening suit! Size is about a Small to Medium. Measurements: Chest circumference 38” Sleeve from center back high point of shoulder to sleeve cuff edge is 24” (sleeves are about 2/3 length , not full length - so they are bracelet length. Meant to be worn with elbow length gloves in the 50s. Shoulders 16” across Width around bottom hem 36” Length of Jacket 21” measured from highest point of shoulder to the hem on the backside. I am a size 4 and it fits me / also fits my size 6 friend - So we feel it is a nice fit for modern S to M sizes. questions are welcome.
