1950s 1960s silk dress, lined, union label, true vintage, L

Lovely true vintage 50s 60s raspberry color ruched silk shift dress with square neckline, embellished with a bow. The dress is lined with opaque fabric and the sleeves are lined with a lighter fabric. There is no size label or fiber label. A burn test of a clipping from an inside seam indicates pure silk: flame self-extinguished and left only ash. The dress form's measurements are 39/32/41. Pit to pit flat measure 21.5” Waist flat measure 18.5” Hips flat measure 20.5” Center back length 42.5” Back shoulder to shoulder15 3/4” Research on the style of the union label indicates this dress was made between 1959 and 1963. In excellent vintage condition. There is underarm fading inside on the lining, but no color change on the outside. From a smoke free and pet free home. Bow embellished.
