1948 Rare & Vintage Sperina Popeye & Friends Manually Wound Wristwatch

Featuring for sale a very rare & vintage 1948 Sperina Popeye Wristwatch. It has a manually wound 7 jewel movement that is not currently running.  The balance wheel does move freely, and the watch can be wound, and the movement set.  With some knowledge and TLC, I believe that the watch could be fixed. The silver round case is roughly 35 mm in size and has light wear and search scratches, overall, it is in excellent condition for the age.  The crystal appears to be original and is in excellent condition with light wear and fine surface scratches. The white face has minor amounts of wear, it features a numeric 12 hour dial with Olive Oyl, Swee'Pea & Wimpy graphics at the 3 6 and 9 and a large and colorful Popeye graphic at 12 that features animated arms and red hands. The watch comes in a vintage white cardboard/paper box that may be original to the watch. The box is in fair to good condition with some cracking and tears.
