1940s or earlier rare iris, birthday card

This card is so pretty it would be nice framed. The iris is paper with real ribbon attached over scalloped vellum. Check out the old font of the message inside! It has been used since Irene signed best wishes. But lucky for us, Irene signed it in pencil. I actually think Irene never sent that card. Because it was in with the stack of the other cards I have listed and it doesn’t look like it was sent. It has the envelope which is showing signs of age but the card is in beautiful condition. The card measures 6 x 4 and three-quarter inches.
