1940s ladies Stetson Fifth Avenue Hat

Original vintage 1940s rare topper from Stetson who only produced ladies fashion hats for a brief period from the 1940s to 1960s). This hat has no signs of wear and is in excellent condition. This Ladies Stetson Fifth Avenue hat came from the department store, Harry Coffee (opened in 1910! In Fresno, CA). I believe this to be a Freedom Fashion hat. it looks similar to one of two in the ads. Not exact, but a similar shape. And, speaking of the shape! Holy heck. There's a slight cone that finishes in a flat asymmetrical top, a wide grosgrain ribbon which trails the back, gold accent and a fan detail that makes me think of a peacock. Tagged size 22.5
