1940’s Vintage silk string pearl necklace

Genuine Pearls w/silk string from the 1940’s. My great grandfather passed them down to me over 12 years ago and I’ve only worn them once or twice. He purchased them in New Jersey in the 1940’s for my great grandmother. She passed in 2003 and when he passed in 2010 and left them to me. I do not have anyone to pass them down to so I’m wanting to let someone else love them as much as my great grandparents did. Also the clasp says silver.
